1-Organizational Change

The modern business environment is ever changing and that means the corresponding management teams need to harness the tools and assets to adapt to and overcome organizational change hurdles. The MBA program has provided prospective managers the unique and invaluable knowledge and expertise to deal with and manage these modern business environments. We’ve grown to understand that change management is the process of overseeing and facilitating change at any level withing an organization wherever it is needed. Organizational change management is designed to reduce potential negative fallouts of any general, structural micro and macro level changes in a business (Lopez, 2020). Stemming from a typical top-down approach, organizational change and its associated processes will require leaders to promote work environments where team members can learn new skills, adjust job responsibilities, and seek out new technologies and software to adapt to these changes.

Implementation of Organizational Change

One of the most important factors I’ve learned in the program regarding change is how important communication is to the process. Open limes of effective communication will help translate a working management strategy into a successful strategy. Organizational change management is, by nature, intended to facilitate structural change, so attention must be paid to each constituent part of the whole (Lopez, 2020). As a new leader, I will understand that organizational change management will need an increased level of attention on planning and training for change. We have learned that many of the prevalent disruptions to the process occur from improper education on new technologies and communication systems. To assist in change efforts, leaders can provide teams detailed plans, clearly set aspirations, and appropriate feedback as the changes occur.

Leadership Development

Strong team leadership provides the foundation for all avenues of success in an organization. Throughout the MBA program, we have cultivated and developed the tools to become effective leaders. Leadership development is crucial in developing leaders in a way that can result in unique and significant ways that ensure an organizations competitive advantage. In various research studies, leadership development has enabled businesses to improve their bottom-line financial performance, attract and retain talent, drive strategy execution, and increase success in navigating change (Farbro, 2021). Leaders who value their impact on the way their teams see their leadership abilities, are better at creating future leaders that put the right individuals in the right roles – which can provide better innovation and stronger performance levels.

Implementation of Leadership Development

One of the best ways to create or promote leadership development is through leadership programs. Leadership programs are designed to train individuals withing your organization to take ownership of their roles and responsibilities place upon them. The role as a leader may be well-defines and include leadership authority and power, such as a manager or executive officer, or it may be loosely defined, such as a team leader who has little official authority but has the responsibilities to get the job done (Jiles, 2021). Leadership development programs increase team member behavior characteristics and retention, increase resourcefulness, demand better decision making, construct stronger teams, and educate future management in your prospective field or organization. The ultimate goal is to create a management style that is conducive to a positive working environment.

2-Looking back on this class and all other classes in my MBA program, what I can say I have learned is how to handle financial, managerial, and even ethical aspects of the industry I am focusing on – Technology. Firstly, I learned how to best adapt to decisionmaking when encountering different financial options for the well-being of a company. There are always unforeseen circumstances that can derail the initial strategy. I learned to have a variety of ways to double-check our decisions before making them which can reduce the chances of ending up in a terrible circumstance. Maintaining open communication, the PrOACT method, avoiding psychological traps, acting quickly on decisions while considering all policies and procedures, and evaluating risks through risk profiles are some useful decision-making methods I learned in my MBA.

Another area of management I can say I am comfortable with is how to organize and forecast optimal circumstances for a company to succeed. For example, thinking critically about the best way to manage by eliminating waste and unproductivity. Through research on productivity, I have learned the lean methodologies through creating a value stream with no interruptions. This way, it makes it easier for products or services to be delivered as needed (Byrne, McDermott & Noonan, 2021). Further research led me to a clear understanding of the combination of “lean” and “six sigma” methodologies, a process of reducing costs, improving quality, and increasing client satisfaction (Stevenson, 2021, pg. 26). All this is in order to have a more efficient business and increase demand.

Lastly, I learned it is important to consider ethics when moving along the business industry. In one of my classes, I was asked to take a test to determine how ethical my behavior is, I had a score of 81/100 whoops! I was sure I would get 100. This practice and many others made me reflect on myself as a person. Based on one’s perspective and moral standards, self-evaluations of ethical circumstances can be misinterpreted. I will admit that these exercises caused me to reflect more deeply on my own values and general sincerity. It also made me wonder if disclosing some unethical incidents in the past would have made a significant impact and resulted in more favorable consequences. Not only did I learn the theory behind business practices and decisions, but I learned a great deal about myself as well. Knowing this, I can proceed more confidently through my business endeavors.

3-Vision/Mission: This MBA has helped me in understanding the persona and significance of having an obvious objective capacity. As an individual, I would set up a dream and mission for myself as an individual dependent on the 360-degree examination of self. It will help me in characterizing my way at the expert and individual front.

Arranging and Analysis: I have found out about thinking about qualities, shortcomings, space of chances and dangers in arranging and examination. Any choice or plan needs to think about the collaboration with the external climate ie. social, political, monetary, and social. In this way, I would have the option to add more aspects to any preparation or examination process. Along these lines, there would be a ton of decisive reasoning and investigation without a doubt.
Execution: Execution of the plans at ground level requires a ton of work and revamp, confronting new and unexpected difficulties and making our own devices without further ado to oversee such difficulties. I have learned instruments and procedures and every one of the conversations, works have prepared me in this execution. Thus, I would be more sure about the execution side. Pursuing advanced degrees is considered one of the key ways to enrich skills and acquire knowledge, both of which enhance employees’ careers. Saïd, K., & Alsultanny, Y. (2019).

Learning: Every activity, each examination and each activity accompanies a bunch of learnings and this course and the MBA has prepared me for breaking down and attracting applicable learnings and using them for what’s to come. In regard to the effects of an MBA education on students’ careers, Inderrieden, reported a positive effect on early career success in their longitudinal study comparing individuals who completed an MBA degree with similarly qualified individuals who chose not to pursue the degree.Bruce, G. D. (2010).
Thus, there are devices and procedures, and speculations explicit which I have learned and will use in my life. Be that as it may, overall the above for basic angles I have realized which would be useful in each circumstance whether it would be close to home direction, functioning as a representative or setting up my own endeavor.
